Fairmount Minerals
Donates Materials Time and Talent
Fairmount Minerals,
Wedron, IL donated the materials, equipment, time, and talents of
volunteer employees to complete the restoration, priming and painting of
the roofs of the Milwaukee Road combine car and the Golden Trencher dining
car. We are very grateful to Fairmount Minerals for this generous
donation. Mendota Museum & Historical Society is in the process of raising
funds to complete the total restoration of the Golden Trencher car. When
complete, it can be rented for special occasions. |

The office is located downstairs in the Hume-Carnegie Museum, 901 Washington
